Seattle Humane Adoption Redesign — Interactive Prototype

For this project, I wanted to create a redesigned pet adoption process on the Seattle Humane website. Currently, the system is pretty basic, showing a picture, name, and age for each animal on the main adoption page and an in-depth personality and behavior description when you click through. Using an interactive prototype I imagined a way to display more of that information on the main screen so people can search through potential pets based on more than just looks. This redesigned system would also allow a potential adopter to quickly fill out the pre-adoption application online and set up a time to meet pets that they are interested in, reducing the time spent waiting and doing paperwork at the physical humane society.

I created both a mobile and desktop version of the interactive prototype using the design elements and color scheme already present on the site.

Images and content were sourced from www.seattlehumane.org. This project was done independently from Seattle Humane.
